This light's low profile is an added benefit for mounting it on my 16' skiff.
Shines nice and bright. Makes the skiff easier to see, at night, through pouring rain, through soupy fog, through snow flurries, and even in a white-out.
And Stainless Steel beats chrome-plated any day!
